  1. Its my first conference and I’m arriving on the 23rd so will miss this session! Pretty sad as its one of my key interests. Any chance it will be repeated? pushed back even? 😉

    • Joe,
I am afraid not. Venues for Fringe meeting have to be booked months ahead. But the LRC are having a Fringe Meeting on Monday 24th at 7:30 in the evening at the same venue. Labour International has a speaker at it on Open Selection.

  2. Open selection is crucial to have in place before another election is called. It is crucial to have parliamentary candidates who are truly socialist. And this takes time. The wonderful, carefully funded planning of the manifesto needs a majority of socialists in the PLP.
I booked accommodation 10 months ago so won’t be there until 23rd. Something as central as this needs discussion more than any other topic.
So PLEASE PLEASE repeat this debate so all of us can get to it. If no venue available, I would even attend on the beach / in a park.

    • One of us will be speaking on Open Selection at the LRC Fringe Meeting on Monday 24th at 7:30 pm, same venue.
